We left Beijing behind and flew out to Osaka. Our first destination was a six hours train ride away however, so our first day in Japan was a very long one, spent mostly travelling. It introduced us to a few cool things though, and by the time we arrived in Hiroshima at night, we knew already that Japan was going to be one of our favourite places to date.
Our first stop in Asia couldn’t have been more different to the party atmosphere and beaches of Rio, where we had just left. We arrived in the capital of China, Beijing, excited to discover some of it’s incredible history. And of course, eager to see one of our most anticipated and one of the world’s most recognisable sites, The Great Wall of China.
Rio de Janeiro. How you’ve just blown our minds. Having spent the past six weeks venturing through Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and now Brazil, we spent the last four days in the most amazing place we’ve come across so far.
So after a few chilled out days wandering the streets of Paraty, we decided to spend the next few days at a place where Brazilians came on their holidays, and get a few days in at the beach. We came to Ilha Grande.
