Hello everyone! Once again it’s been a busy week. We got to Puno in the south of Peru last Saturday after a long day’s bus travel from Cusco, travelling for about twelve hours in total. Luckily, the buses here so far have been so good, with this one having reclining seats and Lord of the Rings for entertainment!

We woke up on Thursday morning at 04:45 to catch our flight to Puerto Maldanado, via Cusco. After a few pisco sours the night before, we had a nice time waking up!
Lima, Peru
So after a journey of more than twenty fours hours after leaving home, and almost a collision every few seconds from the airport to the hotel, we finally arrived yesterday evening at our first destination, Lima, the capital of Peru. After a quick bite to eat and catching up on some much needed rest yesterday, our real introduction to Lima began today, and we’ve already grown to like this place.
